Who we are

NoorWeds (noorweds.com) makes hosted digital wedding invitations. For data protection purposes, NoorWeds is the controller of the information described below. You can reach us any time through the contact page.

What we collect, and why

From couples: the details you enter when ordering — your names, contact email and phone, wedding date, venue, language preferences — used solely to build and deliver your invitation and to contact you about your order.

From guests: what they submit on an invitation — RSVP name, contact details, party size, dietary requirements, and any message. Dietary requirements can indicate religious practice, so we treat them with particular care. This information exists for one purpose: telling the couple who is coming.

Duas: blessings left on the dua wall appear publicly on that invitation by design, signed with the name the guest chose to give.

Guest lists: names a couple uploads to create personalised links are stored privately and are visible only to that couple.

Where it lives

All invitation and guest data is stored with Supabase in London, United Kingdom (AWS eu-west-2). Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers. Email updates are delivered via Resend. The website is hosted on Cloudflare.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or share your data or your guests’ data with anyone. There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no analytics profiling on invitations. The only thing an invitation stores on a guest’s device is a small preference — for example, that they paused the music.

How long we keep it

Invitations stay live for at least 24 months, and guest responses remain available to the couple for that period. At any time — and especially after the wedding — a couple can ask us to delete their invitation and every response attached to it, and we will honour that promptly and completely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Guests may do this too, not only couples. Contact us through the contact page and we will respond within one month, usually much faster. If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
